Seat Toledo Detail -

Depends how anal you are. I clean my arches and it led to someone offering to buy my car at the roadside as he was so impressed with how clean the thing was...

Yeah very true. I remember reading that Heavenly details Astra nurburging topic, that was very anal!

I don't mind cleaning arches, under bonnet etc but screw taking the whole car apart haha!

But each to their own.

Its a lot of effort to be ruined with one trip to the shops in the rain, oops you'll have to strip the whole car again now lol.

Yeah Mark and his Astra. Didn't go down well on most forums, lol. I took my Clio apart on a weekly basis for s***s and giggles (and because it broke), so ended up cleaning shuts, behind the lights, most of the engine etc...!

Not necessarily - if it's well protected/coated afterwards it'll clean very easily, but see what you're saying too.

Boom!

Yes, terrible shame you're going to be forces to drive through the mudslick left by that lorry that cut the muddy verge earlier eh.

Just like the Unit at the weekend in fact. Had to take 5mph evasive action of the mud and grotty puddles, just to not make JD & Bobby J's help not go completely to waste within 1/4 of a mile

Properly protected cars can fly through muddy puddles and be fine.

Scott's ph1 was prime example after I detailed it. We decided to drive through a massive muddy puddle. Got to our destination for pictures and the car was spotless.

I forgot about the large one down that skinny lane last night - slid on the mud at about 30mph giggling to myself as I launched into the damn lake of chocolate.

Car looks amazing :S
