Seatbelt removal and replacement

Whats the crack with seatbelts???
If i remove mine will i need some pro to put them back in. Or can i do it myself??? Want to remove my rear seats and seatbelts but after half a year they will be going back in. 6 months in then 6 months out etc........
MOT/service time they check them right? Well if i tell them i removed them, they check them then!....

If i remove a seatbelt must it be fitted/ checked by a qualified mechanic when i reinstall it???

nope, do it yourself.

Can remove/ refit yourself. Just remember how they went in and be prepared to lose some skin, fiddly job.

Why are you worried about them being checked? They knackered and you want it to pass mot or something?

No mate, but i'll be taking them out, and the rear seats to do a large sound install. I just wanted to know if they could just be put back in no problemo style, i didnt want to be a naghty boy and bodge them back in, when they must be professioanlly done! As i only intend to go for ~8 months with no rear seats ( therefore not needing seatbelts in that time, but needing them the other 4 months ).

If they aint there they cannot be checked. Loads of folk on here dont have rear seats, and pass mot's.
Best to have them in if it's a none permanent measure. Mine will be in during mot time (feb) then back out straight after for some bass in march - november!
