Seats not tilting forward using handle

Hi,

The handle on the top of the seats no longer works to tilt them forward to let people into the back. I have to move the cover from the back and pull one cable down to tilt them forward.

What would the cable have to be re connected to too get the handle on the seat to work again?

Would some super glue/solder fix the problem?

If the actual tilting/sliding mechanism still works then it's obviously come away from the handle. Find a way of taking the handle out and have a look to see if somethings snapped etc.

Yeah it moved and everything, I need to go behind the seat cover to get to the cable and pull that to make the seat tilt and move.

Anyone else have this problem? I would compre with the passenger side seat but the cable has also snapped on that too so I have no working item to compare :rasp:

isn't there a bar under the seat you can pull to tilt it forward

think the cable just comes away from the handle but don't know how much work is involved to re-attach it

Might be quite simple then, no idea on the bar but ive been pulling some cable down to tilt it forward and move it.

Should have new drivers seat back with me soon so I can compare them then nd see what exactly has snapped.
