selling a car with finance owing

whats the best way to do this.

would it put you off, buying a car with finanace owning, i mean when somebody pays for the car i would obviously clear the finance with the money they give me.

would it be easier for them to write a cheque to the finance company for whats owing and then the difference to me

Get them to clear the finance directly with their switch card, the finance co will confirm they have no further interest there and then. Any other funds come to you. I did this for mine <---No worries.

Easiest way is get the buyer to pay off the finance by cheque or credit card. Then take the difference in cash or bank transfer.
