Sending a gearbox via pallet

I'm going to be having a gearbox refurb next week, however I'll need to send my gearbox from postcode KT16 to WR4 (agency transmissions). The online quotes I've been getting are about £60 odd, does anyone know a good, cheap place for sending pallets? Is it worth insuring it as well or do they usually include that on the more expensive options?

Does anyone know the rough dimensions and weight of the box I'd be sending? How heavy is it? 80kg?!

Thanks alot, the quotes are much more reasonable than the ones I had found! I'm abit inexperienced about the whole thing, do I need to box it up or wrap it or what??
