Sensible Soccer 2006: Shipped!

Sooooooo looking forward to this one, a reason to dig my PS2 out again after several months of neglect. Shipped yesterday so all being well it will arrive tomorrow for post-World Cup multiplayer mayhem.

Tried the PC demo and I'm amazed that they have pretty much retained the original fast paced game with no extra annoying gimmicks. I'm hoping this one sells and sells and gives the FIFAs and PES' a run for their money.

i've played it on pc and xbox, hmm seems good in some areas, but in others.... i'm not sure about it.

I loved the original, but this has many flaws, good laugh though, hope I get into it more !

I've got it on the PC.

I hated the original, despite trying it several times. I've got 0.001% football knowledge, but I still preferred the footy management games than the likes of Sensible Soccer.

However, this is an eye-opener. Don't expect realism (in any shape or form) but as a straight-forward footy game, it's superb. If you're bored with the 'simulation' type of FIFA'06, SS2006 is a great alternative. With a couple of mates playing, it would be even better!

Nope - no management, just custom tournaments, player setups, etc.
