Sensors on Valver

  S2000
I went to see a clio 16v last week but noticed that it had two sensors (cts and temp sensor for dash gauge) without any connectors going to them. I have since found out though that these are infact on the thermostat housing on the clio. The pic below shows the two sensors I mean (circled in red).

Does anyone know if any clios came with this et up as standard?

I've been told by a few people that this set-up was only on the 19 16v engine, just want to check as if it wasn't standard on any clios it means the car I'm looking at has had an engine/head swap at some point in it's life.

Also, does anyone know of any sensors which could be around the area of the yellow circle?

Thanks.

If there are no connectors going to the sensors then either the loom has been butchered or its the wrong loom or they're hanging off.

Thats what I thought at first mate, but I've been on williamsclio and a few people have cleared that up as it sounds as though the car has a 19 16v head on it with the clio 16v themrostat housing so the CTS etc are actually in the thermostat housing, meaning the other ones need not be connected.

I just want to check if any clio's have the sensors there as standard or if the car definately has a 19 16v head on it.
