SERV Light

Car  Focus ST-3
I have read through threads found after searching but nothing has answered what the problem is..

Was driving home today, only a 2 minute drive, and the SERV light came on. I have no other lights on with it. I have checked the oil, all is fine - I have read this could cause it. I have checked the auto wipers, which are also fine.

any other ideas?? I am going to get it plugged into a RSTuner later tonight or tomorrow but I have read that they dont always show up SERV faults.

any help is appreciated!

ok so it turns out it is my wipers!!!! i had them in the wrong position when i tested the first time!!!

How much is this to get sorted? anyone had to have this done before? does it need renault specialist? or any old gaff?

ive only just had it serviced though. and it would be nice to know that the light has gone out so if i get a different problem i will know about it, rather than just thinking it is still my wipers!

anyone know how much it is? and if anywhere other than a renault garage/specialist can do it?

Fair enough.

My SERV light is constantly on (lack of airbags) :o

Just take it to a garage with a CLIP system to get it diagnosed.

noticed my air con/ heaters wernt working either, even the display had packed in. the RSTuner brought up 5 diferent faults all starting with 'air conditioning exit...' but nothing about the wipers.

Then realised the air con and wipers are on the same fuse!!!! simple fix!! woohoo!!!
