it should be done every 12k miles so
12k
24k
36k
48k
60k
and so on is there no other documents with the car

You bought a car with no sh ?

Right if I were you i'd get it serviced now ! Get all of the belts done on it, plus all fluids etc, get it properly checked over too.

As you have no paperwork the cambelt might snap & you'll be looking at a big bill.

Why anyone would purchase a car with no sh or bills etc is beyond me, tbh your re-sale value has just dropped a lot.

Ok I sound harsh, but it's true.

how much does it cost to change all the belts etc...and do i have to get it done at a reno garage or can i go to any garage?

  182 ff silver
if u bought it for 800 quid the service will cost half that, just run it into the ground then get another for £800.

Go to an independant mate, mine cost me £170 for full cambelt change and another £170 for full 36k service (which I'd recommend since you dont know if its been done or not).

That was my mk2 ph1 1998 R reg 1.4 RT.
