Service Interval - Clio 200

  182
Sorry for what has probably already been posted many times but I just want to double check.

On a 2010 or 2011 Clio 200 non cup, what is the service interval recommended by Renault? I'm looking at buying and the garage im talking to about one now insist the interval is 18,000 miles or 24 months. The car is now two years old and is having its first service.

This sounds more like a standard clio service interval to me.

Plus, its a Renault garage telling me this.

Cheers,
Dan

+1 for a yearly service. It may sound like overkill, but I renew the engine oil in my Cup every 6 months (4000 miles ish)!

Hi, just signed up for the forum. Been lurking for a while, but spurred into action by today's service quote.

I've got a 2009 Clio 200, hence coming up to 5 years old, but its only got 20K miles. Just been quoted £520 by the main dealer for the 4 year service and MOT. Car is definitely 5 years, but last service was a minor one. I'm told it needs coolant, brake fluid, filters, etc. Seems a bit rich, so considering going independent.

Any thoughts on the main dealer price. Is that what they charge for a major service?

Tried to get some quotes from the Renault site. Maximum price I could get to by including MOT, coolant, brake fluid and filter changes was around £360.

Cheers!

Hi evo just get the oil and filter changed, plus cabin filter and gearbox oils if you havent had it done yet, have the cambelt etc done at 6 years. Use an independant and buy your own oil etc from opie.:coffee:

Where are you based? Search for a specialist on here, might have to be a paid member though.
Guaranteed a good job, and a lot cheaper.
