Service light!!!

Hi Everyone,

I was driving my clio today and noticed that the service light had come on with the ABS light. I pulled up and turned the engine off and when i got back in the car the warning lights had turned off.

Do any of you know what would triggered it off? Should i still get it checked out.

mine did this a few times when the weather was very wet or humid. i sparayed the whole engin bay in Wd40 and it hasnt happend again

Hmm, sounds like that common problem of a dodgy brake sensor switch.

Did it happen when you were lightly braking by any chance. Id put my money on a new switch fixing it. Happened to mine when i first got it over 3 years ago and that fixed it.

I dont know really. I just loked down and the warning lights were on, but before that i was driving it quite hard through the lanes and it was quite wet.


It hasnt come on since and i have driven another 60miles, so hopefully it should only be the once. lol

mine does this every now and again, and its normally when its wet/cold and i brake lightly, always goes off after i turn engine off and on again
