service light

Hi all

I assume when my service is due the service light will come on. I know on my mums corsa there is a sequence of turning the ignition on and pressing a few buttons to turn the service light off. Does anybody know how to do this on the clio?

Get it serviced... That should turn it off...

Im not sure that it does come on when its due a service, it didnt on my old Clio. I think it only comes on when a fault has occured, which is much more frequent than the service interval.

what they are installing for the next generation of Renaults is a special "Warranty" light. Youll probably get this coming on quite often.

The service light does not come on when you need a service it shows that there is a fault (LIGHTS UP "SERV")and usually comes on with another light i.e airbag. Go to ya dealer.

Save a lot of money not having to put neons on your car

If its your first service and you do not get it done at a full renault dealer, you will invalidate the Warranty. Its in the small print, trust me.

as far as i have made made aware as long as it is a vat registered garage that does the service this does not affect the warranty

i think the garage has to be approved by Renault for you to get warranty work done there...
