Service QU please help!

Car  ITR UKDC2


i was just wondering if its worth taking my car to the Renault dealership to get seviced or get a good friend of mine to do it (who has all the computer gadgets etc... to plug in????)

what are the pros and cons?? my car is a 2002 reg and my warrenty runs out very soon what would you do.

please help
 


what service is it for ?

any of the small ones will be fine, stick to genuine parts, sure your mate will do just as good a job.

its the 24,000 mile service................i didnt notice it needed a service because i thought the "SERV" light comes on but i found out that the "SERV" light means somthing else :S



By soon on the warrenty i mean at the end of the month i think





Mike will i be able to get it stamped in the service book from an outside enginer / service centre?? or is it just from Renault?

My friend fitted my old polo GTI with genuine pands and disks for £160.......VW wanted £260

Is the 24,000 service for a Mk 2 172 a big one??? Renault want £250 for it

Just called up West london renault and have managed to get all cliosport members 15% labour!

:D

WOOHOO tomorrow i am going in for my 24,000 service which the lady said would take 1.7 labour hrs.

ive just paid about £175 for my 24k service, and I got a free MOT. but i did supply my own oil for it.
