Service question

My cars just about to hit 49,000 miles! It was serviced at 44 a few months back, so it's next service is next year, or 56k, i need my cambelt doing as the car is over 5 years old now, should i be getting anything else done, heard talk of aux belts? As far as i'm aware it not had any work done over than the services.
I'm gonna pop a new gear box in, is that an easy job? Is it worth getting done when the cambelt is being done?

Any help much appreciated.

Get it done ASAP, you are taking a massive risk, belts have snapped well before the 5 year interval.

Personally i would get this done:

New cambelt Kit (tensioner s, pulleys)
New Aux belt
New water pump

Water pump is part of the same job, labor will cost little more to fit a new one, they have a habit of leaking.

Spark plugs last till 72K, but if you need to change them get some NGK from halfords or other. Renault charge £20 a plug.

Do them yourself, piss job.
