Service tomorrow...

Car  Suzuki Ignis Sport
Having my service tomorrow,

Should i take my induction kit out or leave it in?

Leave it in - tell them not to take it off & throw it away though !

Will they throw it away if i don't tell them not to??

I have had some problems with the car, such as random stalling changing gear into 2nd, should i tell them this, or will they find out the problem thru the ECU system?

i think as part of the service they will have to change the filter,

so just tell them its aftermarket and they will leave it alone

Are they dumb enough to think its not aftermarket?? lol..

I'll tell them anyway. How about the lowering springs and other mods i've done, would i have to tell them about that too?

You dont have to chage anything...

There not going to think "hmmm lowered suspension, better change that for standard and charge him extra"

regards to the air filter your service should be cheaper becuase they wont be replacing the filter.

Ok brilliant, i will ring them up in a mo, and clarify with them.

Does my car have a pollen filter?... coz i would change that if i have one, but on GSF car parts website, it says that pollen filters are only for non-air con cars right?

I just rang the stealers up, and mentioned that i do have a aftermarket air filter, and the guy said, "Its not one of those go faster air filters is it?" and i was like, " ermm, i have an induction kit in it, yes," and his reply " Oh dear " .. lol

But yea, my service will be cheaper because of this. :)

be sure to remove your magic tree air freshener, or they may put a new one in and charge you for it, as its lost its smell

I've only ever removed anything when my old 1.6 was going in for a replacement throttle body so they couldn't say the bmc was causing it. (it wasn't btw)

Warrenty work was the only time I let them loose on it anyway mind.

Car is running so smooth, for the moment! lol... knowing Clios, it'll go back to normal very soon!!!
