Servicing question, 12 and 24K

Why is the 24K so much more expensive than the 12K service when they are replacing the same parts. Do they do anything in the 24k they dont in the 12k?

My 12K cost £118 with my own oil and ITG filter. But the 24k is looking like upwards of £250ish and others are finding the same. Have renault just pumped up the price of the image rights on the service stamp?

Its the same service? I paid less (£135) for the 24k service than I did the 12k (£189). Very odd.

Renault Cardiff wanted £215 for a 24k service on my 172.

Ive found a local ex-Renault franchise specialist who will do it for £150, which I still think is fairly steep.
