Going to service the 172 but i want the best parts for it, what do you all recomend with oil and plugs, goin to use genuin renault oil filter

Has it allready had the bwlts done mate?
When were plugs last changed? 72k is meant to be the interval
But i would say every 40k is best to do them
Gearbox oil been changed before?
Coolant change aswell

I haven got the car yet, im picking it up monday so want to service it etc, it had good renault service history so i will check bt if ratha service it for piece of mind, will probs get belts done aswel

Opie Oils sell service packs, I've just bought an oil change pack from them, they send you all you need.

But I'll echo the above regarding the belts, if you have no concrete proof that they've been changed within the timescales (36k miles / 5 years) then you need to do so ASAP. And when you get them changed, make sure you use one of the specialists on here, not Renault - unless you like shoddy workmanship and an empty wallet

How much is one of those packs and who do u recomend? Worth changing that pulley aswel?

Wests renault on here are great also for service parts, i just got air filter, oil filter and sump washer posted to me for £20
