setting up outlook 2000 to get my aol email

how do i do it?

I have just used BluePete's guide to get rid of AOL 9, but i would still like to have my email alerted to me on the desktop if you get what i mean and not have to log into AOL to retrieve them from their website.

can someone tell me how to do this as i have no idea! i am a computer leaper!!!

doesn't want to connect to the aol server or something like that....

all i know is my green arrows in the bottom right corner keep going on and off, and that is never a good sign!!!

yes m8 it will work, im on aol i never use any aol software appart from aol communicator so that i can check my emails, cant remember where i downloaded it from, but if you cant find it i can send ya a copy.

You should have accounts under tools. As long as you can get this working then you can sack off all the crap AOL get you to install and connect via PPPoE, just don't forget to install your DSL modem drivers lol
