sh!te mpg

  R35 GTR
I was playing about with tyre pressures earlier and my rear passenger side was zero! And my mpg started at about 40 a few weeks ago, and has now gone down to 27.2, would this be the cause of it? My driving style hasnt changed at all over this time period.

or should i look elsewhere.

I'm so glad i checked this as I'm back to uni and on the motorway again tomorrow!

nope, got a cheap compressor, but it was on zero. I thought it was broke or something. scary to think what coulda happened. gonna buy a pocket pressure thingy, so i can keep an eye on it.

On my old 1.2 i had these god damned alloy dustcaps on, and lucky old me had one of them cold weld itself onto the valve - and despite futile attempts with molegrips and other tools it would not come off (unlike the rubber coating around the valve). Eventually i Dremmeled the f00ker off (great pieces of kit) and got it to the petrol station. It read as being 8psi.

Needless to say that i felt alot better about the car once i'd got ti back to 32 psi :)

On my MK2 172 i keep the pressures at 34 (front) and 32 (back) and that seems to work nicely.
