i called up my local ATS and they said there a newish company and do good tyres for cheap!

so proberly crap! how can i check?

I wouldnt get them mate. Wait till you find some evidence of this, ie a road test of some sort. I wouldnt use ATS anyway as theyll rip you off. http://www.mytyres.netwww.mytyres.net were 50% cheaper than kwik fit with my tyres, i got them delivered in two days. A local tyre place will fit them for about £30.

Im not sure about the road tyres but i used to use their slicks which were excellent. Jonathon Palmer uses them on the Clio 172s at Bedford so i presume theyre pretty good.

Essex_Lad, give Uniroyal Rainsport1s a try, there excellent both in the dry and wet, and fairly cheap too !
