treated my girl to a full tank of shell v power instead of tesco 99 the other day, and i dont know if its just me but it seems to be pulling alot better and generally feels better, does anyone else notice a diference or am i talking sh*ite??:rasp:

Other way round for me.

When i visit the folks i do a tank of Tesco Super 99 and it feels chirpier.


The Tesco stuff came out top in a lot of places.

Mine always ran really good on V-power but equally as good on Tesco99.

It was re-mapped and I might add, ran like a dog on any 95 ron:dapprove:

The only way to prove it would be to fill it up use it, completely drain the tank then put in the other fuel & compare.

I'll stick with tesco's 99.

probally does make a difference but nothing you can notice, i think its just in your head that you think it drive better or faster because you are paying more attention to it.

apparantly it matters how old the fuel is so if its not a very busy station the fuel wont be as good. Maybe the tesco garage is usually quieter? I use tesco personaly and optimax when im not close to the tesco garge close to my work and dont really notice the difference - just in the price

The little sticker on the filler cap says 97+ RON recommended if I remember rightly?!

BP Ultimate made my 182 feel like a totally different car!! And it wasn't in my head, it stopped kangarooing down the road from cold and it felt much quicker.
