shifter light stuck on, clio 182

the green shifter light is permanantly on, just run the diagnostic test on the dash which showed this as orange, does this means the sensors dodgy? i dont seem to have any problems with the gear changing or the actual running of the car (i just dont like having lights on the dashboard that shouldnt be on)

These normally end up being due to a poor earth condition behind the passenger headlamp
