shock absorbers

my shockers have knackered after 20000 miles on my 172 cup anyone else had this problem

yes mate, mine has done 30 thou, and the rear drivers side shock had blown all its oil out, so to cure the problem coilovers are going on tomorrow

i too thought this was premature.......

my mk1 172 rear shock went at 28k.

Ive got a sneaky feeling mine have gone too after 11K!!!! How will i be able to tell if they have? Ive looked for oil but theres none; the ride is hard a fcuk tho.

when mine went it, the car was swaying all over the place. Felt like I was driving through a cross wind.
