Fitted new OEM shocks and Eibach Sportline springs to the rear of the boys 182 yesterday, along with new rear discs and pads. Brief road test, no issues.
Front discs and pads done this morning, bedded in and no issues.
Front OEM shocks and Eibach Sportline springs fitted to the fronts midday after a ballache with uber tight nuts n bolts etc. but got there in the end.
Finished assembling it all back together about 7pm tonight - now he's got a 'clunk' on uneven surfaces, much more apparent when reversing and dabbing the brakes (tipping back, front shocks unloading)
Definitely from the front, and only after fitting the front end sus' parts, more apparent when reversing and braking.
COULD BE the pads moving in the calipers (CL RC5+, no spring retainers) but thought this would happen in all scenarios, not just uneven surfaces or reversing??
Any ideas folks?
Cheers
