shocks

  Ph1.2 / VW Polo
Just wondered how can you tell if your shocks are damamged?
i wouldnt know what to look for.
my car is lowered 40mm atm on standard shocks.
people say there shocks are leaking...
what should i be looking for when checking them?

cheers

Look for fluid leakage where the damper rod enters the damper body.

Worth noting that the rates will change with wear and tear anyway so damper dyno is the only accurate way to check if they are within tolerance.
