Short term insurance

Does anyone know of any companies that will insure you for just a month?

The tax has ran out on the 1.4 but I don't want to get a years insurance as I don't know yet if I will sell it within a few weeks or sell the 16v, but I need insurance to get tax and I don't want to declare sorn so i'm thinking short term insurance would be the best bet.

Failing that, does anyone know if elephant, bell etc offer a 14-day period where you can cancel your policy and get all your money back?

nearly all insurers will do the 14 days to cancel jobby

alan24 - I've tried that before but they only insure over 21's and I'm not sure if they would even give out an insurance certificate I could use for tax.

not sure, i used them once, they just emailed a cover note in pdf file

Norwich Union do from 1 day to 28, just type in norwich union day insurance in to your search bar and it wil find it, i use it and its done in like 2 minutes, can cover you immediately, you pay online and print your own cover note out, its fantastic!

day insure say on their website you cant use their cover to tax your car.
