Should I get rid of this piece crap??

  Clio dynamique 1.4 16v
This is a letter in doing for the garage
In the 3 months i've had the car it has had:
all coil packs replaced twice.
new spark plugs
water temperature sensor
brake light sensor
Since it was last fixed it was fine for 4 days then a definate loss of power like before.
Runs bad from cold.
The revs go up and down to a point where it stalls.
Funny burning smell when i come off the motorway or in traffic, the same smell I was told before was un-burnt fuel.
The engine sounds more whiney like it is trying a lot harder get any speed.
When it was working fine, it had a bit of a grunt which has gone.
I have to press harder on the accelerator when moving from a stand still or it just revs.

Renault Sport forum recommends possible things to check:
TDC sensor O2 sensor Water Temp sensor
Throttle Body lambda sensor
maf sensor Coil packs spark plugs wiring loom

what should i do?????????????????????

return it under your rights. customer satisfaction and if you have warranty then just throw it back at them.

I'm not arrogant, i'm pissed off and getting desperate. I love renaults, but this is stressing my out, getting me in trouble at work and i've never had car trouble like this before.

The whiney and the burning smell, is probably the alternator which has gone.

I've had all those things and more replaced on mine, you aren't along.

then go down there and sort it out ...... tbh you are unlucky , ppl have cars without problems and then there's the unlucky ones , but they should guarantee their work , i'd complain in person and be calm about it , no good shouting , it gets you nowhere

I'm going to the garage after work cos the engine management light has come on again. It just feels like it's never gonna be right.

ooooh , a bit awkward then , you probably wont get a refund then , they'll only keep repairing the problems , i'd look into asking for an exchange for another car as you aren't satisfied , buy they'll may fob you off .

try and be civilised about it , but try to get it changed for another if you can as normally once you get a bad one , it'll only get worse . (only speaking from previous example).
see what they offer or will give you in compensation etc etc

GOOD LUCK

One way you could look at it is if the garage fixes all these things they'll not fail in a long time.

Personally sometimes you have to let the head rule - I'd take it back as not fit for purpose under the Sale of Goods Act, and get shot of it.

Try not to let the leather etc cloud your judgement - the worst thing is having a car you have no confidence in and are always wondering when it'll make you late for work. If you give them one more go and you're happy, keep it. If you'll always feel it's about to break, give it back.

May be something really simple and is just a coincidence its gone after 4 days and a string of problems. Tell them if its not right this time you want a refund.
Sounds like MAP sensor and llambda sensor TBH!

I took it back last night, they gave me a megane coupe to use whilst the try and sort it. They said if they can't sort it this time they'll get me fixed up with another car. I'm worried that they won't be able to offer me something as good for the same money. So fingers crossed.

if they can't fix it get it fixed at renault or another garage and send them the bill, someone should be able to sort it really.

Sounds like they are trying to sort something out for you and at least they have provided you with a decent car while yours is being repaired.
If it dosent run well after the work has been done I'd insist on a full refund or an exact replacement in the same spec, trim, miles etc.

Where in the uk did you get the car from (you dont have to name the garage if you dont want to) if you dont mind me asking.
