Should i get tracking done after replacing shocks?

Car  2000 Clio
Hey, so i'm going to change my front shocks tomorrow and was wondering if i need to get tracking done after?

Thanks

On a pinpoint setup racecar, yep.

On a regular road car, don't worry, it'll be fine.

Really?
As you unbolt the camber bolts the alignment will be off.
There's no way around that and an alignment is always cheaper than new tires.

That's assuming the OP has camber bolts?

I'm just being annoying tbh. If I hadn't had it tracked in a while and the top mounts were coming off/going back on again then it's a convenient time. I would want to drive it a few miles to let things settle though.

You should really do all the bearings, rubbers while it's off.. With that a a track would be advised...

If you just tugging out the damper I doubt it'll be no worse after than before...

Point being, it'll mostly likely be slightly out now, and will still be the same after.. Don't sh1t the bed over it, just get a track when you have time to make sure you don't kill your tyres..
