Should I

  ClioSport 182
A friend of mine said he can get hold of some springs and lower my 182.. i was thinking doesnt the dampers need doin as well if your lowering the car but he said that it is fine.. Is it worth risk and is there any dangers.

really you sould change the dampers aswell but half the smelly b******s on here dont,

it will decrease the life of the shocks you have on. Lowering the car will, iirc, also lower the life span of the wheel bearings

Modding a car isnt the best idea in the world, but if you want to lower your car then do it. Just make sure you get decent springs and that you dont go below 40mm on standard shocks as lower than that and they will go fairly quickly

Personally would get either Eibach Proline (very little drop but improved handling), Eibach Sportline (About 30/40mm drop and same improved handling as the proline)

The Apex springs also well thought of but I would say that the eibachs would be the better spring!
