Should my lower gearbox mount look like this? Car clunking when dropping clutch

I'm thinking it's normal but I want to rule out any possibilities as to where my clunking is coming from.

When I change gear and drop the clutch it's making a banging noise. The dogbone mount has been polybushed and is solid so it isn't that.

The car also seems to pull you when you go over a bit of uneven road etc, seems very twitchy and grabby and doesn't inspire confidence. Same when accelerating it seems to have a mind of it's own. The wishbone bushes seem solid too. New track rod ends, inners, balljoints, tracking done so i'm starting to think it's some kind of mount related.

Just replaced the top mounts and that hasn't cured it however now makes car feel awesome when turning in but this problem is still there!

Yes mine looks like this. The clunking most likely is the top gearbox mount having worked loose.

Pull the engine forward and tighten
