Should something be plugged into this?

Just spotted this and im sure i have never noticed this in my 8 years of ownership up to now...

Definetly Power steering. I think it's a pressure sensor but not 100% on that.

I havnt. Oticed any difference to the car. Should i?

I had the belts done in March. Do you think it hasnt been plugged back in then? Surerly it cant have just came loose on its own.

I believe it is to pick the engine tickover up on full lock to prevent stalling.

I left mine unplugged for about 2 weeks after fitting the PMS Air Con delete kit I didn't notice any difference, although I have plugged it back in now.
On a Ph1 there's also alittle one wire plug next to it which doesn't appear to plug into anything.

As above.. ment to stop car stalling at idle on full lock so likely you wont notice any difference
