i think this is the cold air feed thing but is it just suposed to be a pipe like this with nothing on the end. its not giving me any probs but the guy i bought it from i think had a pipe running down to the fog light so when he took it off mabey he didnt replace what was ever there:S

any help wold be great thanks in advance

chris

If he had a pipe runnig down to the fog light, that would have been his cold air feed. Imo the standard air box didn't ought to be like that.

he's trimmed the standard air feed back. It's not in a bad position though, the standard one just goes a little further.
Get a replacement if you really want your car minty standard, or if your feeling flush, get an ITG maxogen. Otherwise leave it, it's fine.

Heres mine, with new alloy feed and the acoustic valve removed. The hose is the same length as the original hose including the acoustic valve, which is about 1ft long. Looks like the acoustic valve has been removed from yours too.

No, not quite! the hose is being fed from behind the headlight. Mine feeds from behind the fog light

^^^well you the air would be nice and cold, so yes.

I'm thinking of doing that to my maxogen, as i never use my fog lights and they keep on getting cracked.
