shouldn't sit like that i dont think. should sit flat on the turret.
mine sit like the second pic (which imo still isn't right, dont know how to fix it tho)
dont look like they are tight enough for me just tighten the top bolt up till it sits flush on the body work....... surely they are knocking around when you drive????
They dont bang when i go over bumps no, No noises really. Apart from turning right it sounds like the front back wheel is rubbing, Not sure wheather its the front or back left wheel making the noise, If that at all.
How do i tighten the bolts? I tried yesterday but it seemed to just twist a little bit so i didnt force it. Ive heard something about an allen key?
They dont need to be super tight. Put a 6mm(I think) allen key in the top of the strut, and with a swan neck spanner, 21mm(i think) check there tight, but dont over do. If there fine then your sorted
Just put the wheels straight on a flat surface, They seem ok now. The left is about a mm higher.
Sorry for the confusion!
Im just trying to find out what this rubbing sound is when turning right. All shocks seem ok. Jack up both front and rear wheels. All seem ok, But front left has a mm or 2 of movement.
I don't think any wheels are rubbing against arch liners.
