Show us your 1*2 gear knobs

Just bought a 182 and the gear knob is still the original one and needs replacing.

Since they are a b**ch to get off I think this one will be cut off.

Thinking of an OEM replacement, but unsure what else would suit the car.any one know the cost of an OEM knob?

Is the phase 1 knob an aluminium ball type knob and do they fit phase 2 cars.

Anyway any photos of what you have would be appreciated (keep it clean).

Cheating a bit, as mine isn't technically a standard shifter but the quaife ones look good.

Phase 1 is an aluminium ball and will fit. I bought a phase 1 stick and managed to remove the knob with a vice and hide mallet. They are on very tight. They are also painted so if you got one and it's a bit scratched it's not the end of the world.

Richbrook do a ball one that's similar to the ph1. They've recently discontinued it, however I got mine off ebay for just over 20 quid:
