Did my door strips from black to blue/silver:

The silver is abit milky because i used a matte lacquer accidentaly

but Everything and anything car related , just thought I'd start a thread to see what success people have hadwith a rattle cans ,couldn't find a thread , seen some nice jobs in the past ,wondered if anyone wanted to share for inspiration,

what's the name of the colour blue ? My mk1 is the same colour but not had much look finding out , any help would be much appreciated
 
It's probably not the same colour, finding your colour code shouldn't be difficult. I'm sure I've got some pics of some stuff I've done in the past, I'll have a look.

Cheers bud! yeah it is, the flags just some vinyl label i pinched from work.
As for the colour, im still debating it as i was fairly certain it was odyssey blue, but no i think its either royal or pacific blue (460)
Your MK1 will most likely be a completely different colour, have a search for your colour code

No way is that lacquer out of a can.
 
Every wheel in those pics above were painted with rattle cans bought from Halfrauds, none of them were lacquered. As they were track wheels they were just rubbed down and sprayed either in the store room or the back garden.
