spent a little of my free time customising my 16v badges from a silver to a liquid yellow j37 colour but wanted for the 16v to be in black, can anyone tell me how they apply paint to the lettering? do you tape around it or just apply the paint with a brush....carefully...also, is it just a aerosol can (sprayed in the lid) or do you use plastic paint out of a tin?

i heard one guy did it with a touch up pen.

I sand all the little bits with sand paper and get all the chrome off the lettering. i then spray the whole badge whatever colour you want it in. then spray some of the spray paint in the lid and use a really fine brush to slap the paint on.

touch up pens are too fat imo and not precise enough
