Side Skirt Fixings

Does anyone know how to remove these bottom fixings where the skirt meets the cill?

Do they simply push out with the use of pliers?

Drill the head off with a large drill bit

Ive found this problem too, so i need to fixings or find something else to fit the holes?

They are rivets. The only way to remove rivets is to drill them out.

8" buff? That'll take the rivet off? Right?
