Side strips fitment

Does any know or tried fitting PH2 side strips to a PH1 shell? Is it the same, possible or a major mod?

I gave clio_stu the ones off the cup for his ph1!

Did you get the reg btw?

Ph2 are slightly bigger iirc but they 100% fit.

Got the reg no probs but it's a ph2, forgot 172 ph2, doh! So didn't buy from Renault as I had doubt in my mind if they would fit plus 2 door, 2 rear quarter and 2 bullets is £240 unpainted!
I might look stupid....
Anyway there's a set on for sale thread, I'll give them to the paint shop at the same time as the side skirts, back bumper (need to change the screw hole locations under the tailgate) and the roof spoiler. Then just need front and wings and hey presto a 1.4 182/172 ph1 clio!
