yes mate, they are true white although it's not 100% to the Xenons. They are the ones you want, I got 4 in total as I did my interior courtesy light too.

i think it's you just need and electricians hand mate. i know mines a 1.6 but i changed all the lamps on the front of the car in about 15 mins and my hand aint exactly small lol.

these are the boys you want though lol

  Better than yours. C*nt.
Fucker of a job, still can't be arsed to do mine. May get one of the monkies coming at the weekend to have a pop if they've got small hands, as my missus says my hands are big ;)

Took me ages to change mine!! Almost gave up. Want to put led sidelights in to match the xenons, but cannot be bothered.

need to press in the coils and the bulb then slips out. I thought it was a struggle when I first did it, now it's pretty easy. All in the wrist ;)

Yeah it's the 1*2's with the problems. Renault thought it would be handy to run air-con pipes in the way on one side, and an air feed hose on the other.

Do these Leds just fir straight into the place of the existing bulb, and do they fit Mk2 Ph1s? How easy is it to change the interior bulb, are they the same fitting?

Cheers

Yeah they just replace the standard bulbs . Sussed it , the white plug just pulls out . Done passenger side , same problem for me with the drivers side though due to the air con pipes and big hands , lol .

yeah they just pull out. They do twist but for no reason. The interior lights are the same lamp yes.

I changed mine in 5 mins, there is a knack to it. I'm 6'7, i have big hands. Its the putting the bulb in the plug thats a fiddle. If you push you left hand down the small gap to the left of the air con pipe and hold the plug between your first and middle finger, then use you right hand to push the bulb into the plug. Its fingertip stuff but you get there.

Nice one . Done it:) , thanks for the offer though . I'll put a couple of pics up after , and a tool i used . I just couldn't hold the bulb holder and get my other hand down to push the bulb in . Good job i bought 4 cos one of ems in the engine bay somewhere adding to the rattles , lol .

Cheers for the heads up on the leds anyway Daz .They match the xenons alot better :)

Some pics of mine fitted now . I found a screwdriver that has 3 prongs on to hold small screws .

I took the 3 prong thing off the screwdriver and used the screwdriver to prise the bulb holder out of the headlight . Then i used the 3 prong thing to hold the led with some cellotape wrapped round to stop it splaying open when i pressed it into the the bulb holder . Without this i'd never have managed the drivers side light as i couldn't get both hands down behind the light .

there a pain in the ar$e to change
one thing to remember if you are fitting LED's is to test them before you put the bulb holder back in the light as they are polaraty (sp) sensitive

I had loads of problems changing mine as i have sausage finger an clumpy hands, but in the end i gave one of the local kids with teeny weeny hands to change them for me for a can of coke and a fag, workd a treat.
