siezed handbrake? help

Got in the car today to go to work,
as normal,
reversed about a foot before it felt like i was tryin to reverse over a brick,
tried to drive forward bt it wasnt havin any of it,

feels like the handbrake is on,
when the leaver is down,
its not very limp so i dnt think the cables gone,
and it feels like its only on one side (rear passenger side)

please advice as i dont really know about brakes
would it be my handbrake thats knacked??
and is it something i could fix easily??

probably just a brake stuck on, give it a good bit of revs, preferably in reverse and it should bang off. common if you have drums.

its drums at the back,
was trying it thismorning
but it wernt avin nun of it,
happened once last night as i was pulling away,
but came off pretty quick so i took no notice of it,
but thismorning they were well and truely stuck,
gna take the drum apart 2nite,
there anything spercific i should look for??

happened to me when i was changing my wheels, i took the wheel off and put it back on and it was fine again

checked the handbrake cable and its loose,
so its not the handbrake,
cudnt get my head around taking the drum apart so ill try again tomorro before it gets dark,

i dnt suppose anyone could post an idiots guide to getting a drum apart,
i took the cap and the bolt off, but it still refused to budge
help me!! its the essex meet on saturday and i really wanted to go! lol
