Signalling lights... WHY!

I've only just noticed, but my indicating right signal is flashing quicker than if i indicate left. For example, when i indicate to turn right, the 'tick tack' sound is quicker, than if i indicate left.

It is noticable with the orange lights outside the car aswell, i.e. the side repeaters, etc.

Why is this?? What has caused it? It looks awful! Chav's do it purposely, but i want it to stop!

Idiotguide to checking bulbs.

- get out of bed
- shower and get dressed
- eat breakfast
- take carkeys and go outside
- unlock car and open driverside door
- get in, leave door open
- place key in ignition and turn it on
- put on right indicator
- get out and walk to the front of the car
- if indicator works walks to back of car, else you found the broken bulb

It could always be the relay, if the bulbs are still working that is.
