Silicone Hoses and Engine Degreaser

just a quick question really

is it ok to use engine degreaser on silicone hoses, it wont affect them or the colour will it ?

ive got SFS hoses and Tetroclean degreaser aerosol

i used WD40 on em. Or some wipes i can get free which are used to clean operating rooms in hospitals, gets anything off
