silicone how do i remove it from trim

i was going to clean the car next weekend as all the dust is sticking to the silicone as it hasnt been cleaned in 8 months. but whats teh best way to get the silicone dressing off the trim ?

i assume you mean a dressing that you put on the trim and now you just want to give it a real good clean?

just use some hot water with either some apc or bodywork shampoo and then a nail brush to scrub. be carefull of toching the paint though with the nail brush

Autoglym Interior Shampoo and some warm water and Microfibers will do a decentish job on light grime.

Try the AG first and see how it goes.

Without access to a Vax type machine use a some Meguiars All Purpose Cleaner if the Autoglym is not working.
