my ph1 172's exhaust has a slight blow by the rear box,so me thinkin of replacing, now i know it sounds silly but iv not got a great amount of money,so shall i get a std one as the car is std,or shall i go aftermarket?
judst a quick question, i have a magnex on the back, mine is stripped and a plug thinggy fell out of the floor in the back, didnt do anythin just there to cover up somthing and now when i open the window it sonds as if its blowing but checked the zaust and its not, is this just the air coming in the windoew and going through this hole (size of a 50p)????
The exhaust will need to be cut in order to fit the new one, as the original is a one piece that fits over the axle. Or you could drop the axle and remove it in one piece.
reason i aking is i havent had the chance to get it up on the ramp at work but the rear box looks brand new and the blow seams to be comin from the bend just as i goes over the axle?
When my exhaust went on the bend at the back box i just used gum gum paste and a bandage lasted me about a week and a half until my magnex arrived it whould of lasted allot longer just need to add gum gum paste when needs it, depends when your getting more money though?
