Bought tickets for my dads birthday for the GT racing this weekend (thanks for whoever gave me the idea again!). The weather was pants up until this afternoon but it was still a laugh and i found a friend was racing in the Maserati Trofeo!

The annoying thing was that there were loads of grandstands but most were padlocked up, cheers Silverstone! Here are some the few i forgot to post. I drank too much wine last night...

When I went to Donnington last year it was tipping it down, the only place with any cover was the grand stand which they had an official stood by saying no one could go in... he was drenched and was met by about 200 very angry people who were also drenched.

Grrrr.

Yeah, its a shame. I think that prevents it being a family day out, i could cope with it but my mum or girlfriend would be moaning all day!

The Gallardo looked superb, it is very compact and 'taut' looking. The best sounding car was the Murcielago, it was just like a slightly quieter F1 car. Unfortunately it was all show and no go...
