silvervision??

Silver visions are silver indicator bulbs, that's it really. You need offset pin ones.

any1 got any pics of them on a car??? i want them very bright lights for my car, av seen them on all the newer cars....they have a silvery blue tint in them, there very bright...any1 know what i am on about??

Oh and i think the blue bulbs are spelt something like "osram diadems".

Im thinking of getting some blue ones for the front and switch the silvatecs to the rear lights.

i got silvatec front and back, look the bollox. dont think i'm gonna be able to have a car and not fit them lol.
slivas are a bit more silver than the silvervisions, whih still are a slight bit orangy.

i think the only real difference is that the silver coverage on the visions is more even than the tecs, the teck have a heave silver coating onthe head of the bulb, which is much thinner on the edges, as you can see inthe pick the orange glow comes from the bottom of the glass with the thinner coat relying on the mirror to amplify the light, all you can see thorugh the thick coat is the filliment burning. were as i think the visions have amore uniform glow, you knoe more radiation than reflection.

if you can understand that, because i'm not sure i can lol....i need sleep.

but what ever one you go for, they are one of the best mods you can do to a clio IMO. sucha small thing but make a really big impact.

but what i think you are talking about from reading your last post is the sidelights/head lights, that have a slightly blue tinge the philips bluevision bulbs.

Yeah i think i knwo what you mean. Xenon lights. Did you think the indicators where going to produce this effect?

If so, they wont. You can either upgrade your lights with an aftermarket kit (not sure what the outcome would be)

Or buy some new headlights with Xenons in (i think there available)/

The silvertecs are Indicator bulbs. Only for when you indicate.

If your talking about the headlights actual lights for driving along. And your thinking of the Xenon lights you see on the new range rovers etc. Then thats what you want. Either an upgrade kit or some new headlights will be the answer.

nar am thinking bout sumit else mate.....av got totally mixed up.....i am after the bulbs for headlights that r clear dead bright!!!!

^
sounds to me like your mate is talking about the illegal bulbs they sell on ebay tbh, some on there are silly bright & look crap (also blinds other motorists too:mad: )

Other than that get a set from powerbulbs, they sell legal stuff on there that looks good.

Or as said go for a HID kit.

go to powerbulbs.co.uk you can get blue bulbs from philips or their own brand ones, the own brand ones are buy one get one free plus with orders over £10 you get free blue side lights.
they are replacement bulbs, which are blue and the blue glass acts like a filter onthe yellow light making it look white not yellow. and are a fair bit brighter than standard lights but you can get brighter yellow bulbs too. i have powerbulbs ownbrand 50% brighter bulbs and they are brilliant.
they bulbs are direct replacments.

however if you want the lights which are very bright and are either white or blue, and look especially blue if they go over a bump on the road. those are Xenon head lights, they are a completley different style of light and a bit more complicated. on clios the only legal way to have them is to fit renault xenon projector lights which are about £300 i think from a member on here, or install projector style after market lights then fit a HID kit (www.hids4u.co.uk) the colour white to blue depends on what "heat" of bulb you get, the renault ones are 5300k, which are white, the bigger the number the bluer the light, so 8000k is verry blue looking. you can get HID kits for about £45, you can fit them to normal lights but they take a wee but of modding, but apprently they wont pass an MOT as they are too bright because of the clios reflector lenses. but hey they look good.

Do it properly if you want xenons. Please dont add to the chavy hid conversions you see on shitbox corsas, ax's and on some 1.2 clios.

They are dangerous to other road users and look crap imo.

Renault charge about £300 for the proper kit. They do come up on ebay.
