Hi guys,

Several ppl have told me I should get silvervisions for my 172. How much do these cost and can somebody show me some photos with these lights fitted?

I have these ones...pretty sure you'll need the offset ones. Best let someone else confirm though as I can't remember for sure...

I bought mine from Halfords £15 a Pair so not Cheap Bulbs but do make a Big Difference IMO

Yeah, Silvervisions / Silvatech bulbs are a must. Makes the car look a lot cleaner. Also, if you haven't already, get some clear / white side repeaters.

christian is selling silver bulbs...i want to get 6 to do all my orange ones...am i going to need extra stuff to fit them then?

No though a pair of small hands will help, when they say offset pins they mean the two lugs that that hook into the bulb holder are not directly opposite each other

i think its 185 offset or 182 cant remember of top of my head ,ill hope fully be stocking up today but im not deffinate as there messing me aound with there orders

Yes but if you wait for christian to get some more in stock you'll get 2 pairs for 58p less than they want one one pair!

Yes they do. The lights look a lot cleaner with the Silvervisions in.

I've got these fitted, I wouldn't say there as clean, but a little different:

Silvervisions look ace, only negative is that during the day theyre about half as bright/ visible as standard bulbs.

In bright sunlight, very hard to see the flash of your indicators!

Would still get another set though...

i just went to the scrap yard and looked for a newer picasso and had them out of them as they come standard in them! they also hae them in the new bmw's:rasp:

most car accessory shops should keep them on the shelf,we do them single for £2.99 each,you'd be surprised how many people fit them to various cars as they look so much better than standard ginger ones

massive improvement, i picked up some off ebay brand new for a couple of quid

had them in nearly 18 months and they have been fine
