Simota Flyby video

Went for a play today after getting the car serviced yesterday, and changing the plugs myself this morning as well as cleaning the filter inside the simota.

Not brilliant quality but gives you an idea.

I've got a simota i bought it last month i'm just waiting on a caf then im going to fit it :D
Have you got a caf on your's ???

Nope, using the original feeds. Its something i might get sorted at a later stage when i can be bothered taking the whole bumper off.

Despite what everyone says, the simota and the standard feeds provide pretty good inlet temps. I've done a number of data logs with the RS tuner and this rumour that it sucks in hot air off the rad just doesnt seem to be valid.

Really, so you haven't put any extra caf piping on your just using the origional ???
I've heard good thing's and bad thing's about the simota and tbh honest i only bought it for the look's and sound but it's nice to hear more good thing's about it :D

Yep using the existing OE feeds.

I got the kit purely for the sound myself, it is completely mental past 5k, almost sounds like throttle bodies.

I suppose its just a bonus that it doesnt perform that badly either.

Nice one i'm in two mind's whether to fit the caf now as i'm not into bumber removal's lol and i want it fitted last month :S. What about the hose have you got it fitted on the standard one or a samco ???

Standard one once again. Its not ideal though by any means and i can see how it could easily be a restrictive element.

Will be going for a samco or possibly a simple 90 degree bend and breather in a few months when i can afford it.

I've got a samco to go on with it so hopefully i will get the whoel thing's fitted on the weekend minus the caf for now

Sounds Awesome! - i really need to hook myself up with some ph2 door strips and bullets lol (Sorry to go off subject haha)

sounds good. was unsure about them because of rumor's of higher inlet temps. as long as it doesn't noticably reduce performance, it seems worth it just for the sound!
