Sky+ ....F**kin jumpy channels..

all the channels that i watch, all the ones that are free....dave etc every ten seconds jump.....wtf....any one else have the same problem? i have the latest Sky+ box, i have an older version down stairs off the same dish and that has no problem

ye theirs a fault with all the boxes claims the manufacture, you should have recieved a call from sky sayin their coming to replace it, if not phone them up ..

i have an issue with my sky plus as well, jams up every little while or so or certain channels like 5

Try switching the box off for 5mins.

force a software update...

kill the power at the mains, hold down the backup button on the front of the box (not the remote), power it up again, keeping hold of the backup button until the 3 lights on the front all come on and the update message appears on screen

mine's screwed. can't watch the main channels at peak times without skipping. always reboots itself randomly and recorded programmes are so messed up they're unwatchable.

Sky say £65 call out as out of warranty. I say stick it up your hoop am I paying that when I pay £38 a month and have done for 3 years. Will phone up and rant at them in the week until they waive the call out fee.

seems to have sorted it


and it was as the title says sky + not HD
