What’s the difference between the older Thomson boxes to the newer ones? I just looked at my box and it’s Thomson.

I did try to upgrade but they weren’t having any of it.

With my current box i can only record 2 things at a time but have to watch one of them.

Does the new TB box allow recording more at 1 time?

The 1tb box will function exactly the same as a normal hd box but with more space - means you can record 3d when it comes out. Also, its quicker.

There are differences between HD boxes. I've got a rev3 thompson but my mate has a samsung and its about twice the size!

ISTR that the original Thomson box is the only one with component outputs (therefore free of HDCP on those ports).
